Our Campus Ministry objective is to enable and encourage students to effectively reach out to people on their campus as well as to those in other colleges and universities in their vicinities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done by providing materials and training to aid in the formation of discussion forums on various campuses, and by the distribution of truth-filled literature, new information, and ideas to help the future generation of Africans to experience the abundant life in Christ.
Although the focus point of the discussion forums in these campuses is centered on the gospel and Jesus Christ, we do not miss the opportunity to use the same forums as springboards for our humanitarian activities such as our campaign to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS and how it is transmitted and hopefully to lower the number of newly infected cases.
Jesus Christ said: “I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly” John 10:10. With our campus ministry, we hope by God’s grace to create an environment where young Africans are able to put together the pieces of their puzzled life and have peace in their heart. We hope to put them in the path that leads to the cross so they can be convicted by the truth of the gospel and give their lives to the Lord.
Only 28% of Africans claims any form of Christian belief and Jesus is coming soon. Jesus’ great commission to all Christians is to go and preach the good news to the entire world. Friends, there is certainly no shortage of lost people in Africa. And there is no shortage of truth in God’s book. But there is frequently shortage of funds to get the Words of Life into the ears of the lost. So God invites us to participate in sending the messengers who bear those words. “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10: 14, 15)
Will you join us to send the good news to the lost sheep in Africa?
